Fulfillment

We're a pretty small shop here & we ship everything ourselves & since we're usually pretty busy what with actually making the books, we don’t usually mail stuff the same day you place an order. But you'll still get your book(s) pretty promptly (we visit the post office about once a week).  Drop us a line if you have any questions about your order!

Also: the GDPR shit is a little over our heads at the moment, so we've temporarily suspended sales outside the U.S. and Canada. We'll get it figured out soon, though. In the meantime, just know that the only data we really care about is the stuff between book covers, and the only thing we collect is an email address if you buy something from us (and even then we hardly ever use that email address because we’re really pretty busy actually making the books).

returns policy

Did we accidentally send you the wrong book? Or did your order arrive damaged? Send us an email with a photo & your order number within 30 days of shipment, and we’ll send you a proper new copy. No need to return anything to us.

Did you accidentally buy the wrong book? Or did you decide you just don’t want it? Send us an email within 30 days of your order’s shipment, and we’ll provide return shipping instructions; upon receipt, we’ll refund the purchase price & any applicable taxes (as long as your order is unused & in a saleable condition). Shipping cost is non-refundable & we don’t pay for return shipping—but hey, at least there’s no restocking fee?

With digital goods, we don’t accept returns. But if there’s an error with the file we sent, we’ll definitely make sure you get a working one!

For everyone else: Featherproof is not currently accepting submissions, so please don't blindly email us one. If you send us an unsolicited manuscript, we probably won’t respond because we're working so hard on the stuff we are already publishing. Then your feelings will be hurt, and our feelings will be hurt because (a) we don't wanna hurt your feelings or anyone's feelings, we just want some real positive feelings out in this universe and/or all possible universes, and (b) we wish we could read your manuscript, but we swear to all that is holy we don't have the time right now. But someday we will! And that will be a glorious day for everyone. So check back here once in a while for updates (or sign up for our newsletter), and in the meantime: keep writing and editing and writing and editing and writing and editing, et cetera. This shit is hard & good shit takes time.
